Transition Employment Program

The Transition Employment Program (TEP) is a comprehensive program designed to assist high school students with disabilities that have completed the 11th grade in discovering their skills, abilities, interests, strengths, and career goals through extensive assessments, job readiness skills, and an introduction to the world of work. TEP is a five-week pre-employment transition service held on the Arkansas Career Training Institute campus in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The program provides our students specific training in the follow areas: ■ Job Exploration Counseling ■ Work – Based learning opportunities ■ Counseling on Post – Secondary Opportunities ■ Instruction in Self – Advocacy
