Volunteer Application.  This application is for volunteering at the Butler County Humane Society. 

The first step to apply is to submit a free background check.  Follow the steps below and be sure to make note of the control number that is assigned after you submit.  You will have to enter the control number on your application.

Choose 'New Volunteer Record Check'

Scroll down, check the acknowledgement box and click accept

Fill out the first page.  Enter Butler County Humane Society as the Volunteer Organization.

Verify your information on the next page and then click Proceed

On the next page, enter your name again and your date of birth.   If you’ve changed your name, enter your prior names in the bottom section.

Then click ‘Submit This Request’

On the next page, click Submit

On the next page, you’ll get a Control #. Please save this number and enter it in the Background Control Number field on this application.
