Hello and thank you for volunteering. Our community is stronger because of people like you.
You are about to sign up for a shift to work the Squatch Till You Drop aid station or the hospitality area. Our 6 hour Ultra event is being held on 9th at Allsopp Park (3700 Ceder Hill Rd.) in Little Rock. It is the 2nd annual Squatch Till You Drop trail run event 6 hour and will go from 8am-2pm.
At the aid station responsibilities:
-filling cups with water and sports drink
-handing cups to runners
-picking up the cups as runners drop them
-receiving and responding to Race Director communications via walkie-talkie (basic
check-ins on supply needs)
-being vocal supporters for the runners by cheering them on and giving the
encouragement.
All the aid station supplies will already be in place.
The aid station is located right off South Lookout St. in Allsopp Park.
Hospitality Area responsibilities;
-Greet runners as they arrive at the event
-Help with on-site registration, as needed
-Keep snack area stocked and clean
-Assist with merchandize sales, as needed.
-Help serve lunch to participants (after 11pm)
-Communicate with Race Director to answer participant questions, as needed
Aid Station needs:
12 volunteers for November 9th.(3 shifts)
Hospitality area needs:
5 volunteers (3 shifts of 2 hours each)
You will need to report to the Park Pavilion 30 minutes before their shift begins.
In addition to my eternal gratitude, you will also receive an event T-shirt and snacks (and beer if you are over 21).
