National Volunteer Week is upon us again! Founded by the the largest non-profit dedicated to volunteer service, Points of Light, National Volunteer Week provides the opportunity to recognize the impact of volunteer service and to build stronger communities.

The City of Little Rock is, once again, honored to partipate and proud to announce our 2023 projects.

Interstate Park

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Skills: Manual labor

Join Central Arkansas Master Naturalists and Audubon Delta to clean up Fourche Bottoms. Canoes will be available thanks to Audubon Delta but if you have your own, please bring it.

Park near the gate beside the railroad tracks. A shuttle will be available to traverse the road if you do not feel like walking the short trail.

Items to bring:

2) Water Bottle

3) Loppers

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Skills: Pick up Trash

Pick-up litter off of 7th Street.

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Skills: Painting, Manual labor

Love to paint? The gazebo needs a make over; so, wear your paint clothes and we'll provide the paint, rollers and brushes. We will also be cutting back invasive plants.

What to Bring:

1) Gloves

2) Water Bottles

3) Loppers

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Skills: Manual labor

We will be cutting back invasive plants and picking up litter. Tools provided but if you have any, please bring them.

Meeting Spot: Behind Comet Cleaners on Bowman Curve

Union Park

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Skills: Painting, Manual labor

We will be painting benches and cutting out the vegetation growing in the fence.

What to Bring:

1) Gloves

2) Water Bottle

3) Loppers

Animal Village

Walk the dogs and play with the cats.
