Southwest Community Center is the heart of Southwest Little Rock!  Nestled amongst the Dee Brown Library, the Southwest Division Police Department, businesses and neighborhoods, we offer a game and snack area, a banquet hall, an aerobics/dance room, a fitness room, a two lane indoor walking track, a gym with two basketball courts, a classroom, a walking trail, a multi-purpose field, a playground, and a swimming pool.

Several volunteer opportunities exist for individuals and groups to contribute to our quality programs and activites.  If you have skills in the following areas, then be a community builder with us!

Homework Heroes 

     Assist in our Latchkey Afterschool Program on Mondays thru Fridays from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

Youth and Adult Class Instructor 

     Assist in:  

       Baseball Clinic 

           Tuesday & Thursday -6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

         Family Paint Night 

          Every 1st Wednesday of the month

          6:00pm-8:00pm

         Youth Dance

             Monday & Wednesday  - 6:00 pm-7:00 pm 

         Senior Aerobics

            Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 

                  8:00 am-9:30 am 

Youth Athletics Sports Coach

     Assist in coaching in our various sports which include:  youth baseball, girls fast pitch softball, blastball, youth basketball, youth football, youth volleyball, and youth cheerleading.

Special Program Activity Assistant 

     Assist in our Youth Summer Laureate Program in the months of June and July.

Special Event Activity Assistant 

     Help us in our annual events: 

         Kids Night Out - September  

         Fall Carnival - October 

         Trunk or Treat - October 

         Breakfast with Santa - December

Special Project Assistant

     Keep us shiney by picking up litter or landscaping around our facility.
