Dogs Off Leash Ambassador

Skills:

Ability to stand on your feet for up to 3 hours. Ability to respond to instructions. Flexibility and friendliness.

Location:

12304 107 street, Edmonton,
Alberta, T5G2S7

  • - Represent the City of Edmonton and the Dogs Off Leash Program as a welcoming host at off leash sites
  • - Report observations and concerns to the Dog Off Leash Coordinator
  • - Provide basic park and dog etiquette information to park users who approach them
  • - Provide contact information to citizens who have  concerns, complaints, and advanced questions
  • - Be a model of responsible dog ownership
  • - Monitor and maintain signage and bulletin boards where applicable
  • - Sign up for shifts at desired off leash site(s)
  • - Always be positive and courteous when interacting with the public
  • - Let inquiring users know that if they would like to organize a site clean-up, the City will assist with the supplies needed
  • - Refill “doggy doo doo” bag dispensers
  • - Refrain from enforcing or reprimanding other users when witnessing infractions
