Volunteers are needed to help bag and flash-freeze meals in our Charles T. Bauer Community Kitchen. Flash-freezing the meals made by our FoodWorks students give us the ability to use fresh produce and perishables and deliver them to our network partners and youth feeding programs. Remember to schedule at least one week in advance!

Requirements:
• The minimum age required to work in the kitchen is 12 years old (adult supervision is required).
• Volunteers should dress comfortably and wear closed-toe shoes. Volunteers in the kitchen work in a climate controlled-room set to 68 degrees. Dressing warmly is strongly advised. Open-toe shoes are strictly prohibited.
• Volunteers must be able to read and understand product labels.
• Volunteers should expect to be standing and active for a minimum of 3 hours.
• Use of cell phones, iPods, audio devices, headphones, and earbuds is prohibited in the kitchen.
