A "FAMILY ROOM CARE KIT" is placed on a family's bed each night upon check in to the Family Room located inside Children's Mercy Hospital. The families staying here are in need of quick respite near their child. A ready-made "FAMILY ROOM CARE KIT" helps give families one less thing to worry about when a hospital stay is unexpected. 

This is a great volunteer activity for youth/teen groups. Each kit should include all items listed below. The travel size toiletry items are perfect! Kits should be placed in a reusable bag. The kits can be prepared in your own setting and dropped off at the Wylie House any day between 9a-9p. There is no maximum number of kits that you can make but we suggest at least 5-10 bags.
