Our families are constantly on the go and the last thing we want them to worry about is food while they are away from the Houses. Grab and go snack packs are the perfect solution and we need your help!

This opportunity can be done own your own, off site, or, on site, in our community room (pending availability) at the Longfellow House. If you are planning on making more than 50 snack bags, please email [email protected] to check availability of space. PLAN TO DROP OFF AT THE LONGFELLOW HOUSE AT 2502 CHERRY STREET, KANSAS CITY, MO 64108 BETWEEN 8 A.M. AND 8 P.M., 7 DAYS A WEEK. 

You provide the supplies (clear baggies/brown sacks) and snacks. The number you make is up to your group, but we recommend a minimum of 20 and no more than about 100. 

You can put 3-5 non-perishable items in each bag, but please do not include perishable items in them. Perishable items, such as apples or cheese, are certainly appreciated, but please keep them on the side. 

RMHC Food Policy – Due to food safety concerns and the well-being of our families, we are unable to accept food items or baked goods that are prepared off-site (such as in your home kitchen). Please use pre-packaged goods from store in unopened containers and packages.
