Meal group volunteers plan and execute meals for families who call the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware home while they are seeking treatment for a sick or injured child. Volunteers execute all of the steps of the meal from planning, purchasing, preparing, and serving. We do have a small pantry with limited items you are welcome to access.
Ronald McDonald House Charities requires that all food be prepared on-site in our commercial kitchen OR in a commercial cooking establishment.

Location/Parking:
Upon arrival at the Ronald McDonald House ring the doorbell and let the front desk know you are part of the meal group. You may temporarily park in our lot to unload supplies. The manager on duty or a volunteer will help acquaint you to the kitchen when you are ready to begin.
Parking at our House is extremely limited and priority is given to families. Parking is available in the flat lot across Rockland Road from the Ronald McDonald House; spaces are marked as reserved for Ronald McDonald House. We highly encourage carpooling to keep the number of cars at a minimum.
Clean-up:
You are welcome to stay in our dining room and enjoy the meal that you made for our families. Meal groups are responsible for cleaning dishes used in your preparation. Trained volunteers will be on hand to clean up the food and package leftovers for our families.
Recycling and safe grease disposal are on-site.
