Volunteers must be at least 12 years old to volunteer in the kitchen at the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware. We are unable to make exceptions. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult (over 21) at all times.

Dinner Clean Up- Groups volunteering for dinner clean-up should plan on volunteering from 6:30-8:30pm.

Clean up incudes putting away, storing, and cleaning up leftovers from dinner while abiding by our Safe Food Handling Guidelines. Running dishwashers as well as handwashing larger pieces and emptying out trash cans is also a necessity. Wiping down tables, chairs, counter tops, as well as sweeping floors (if needed) are additional tasks for Dinner Clean-up groups.

Location/Parking:

Upon arrival at the Ronald McDonald House ring the doorbell and let the front desk know you are part of the clean-up group. The manager on duty or a volunteer will help acquaint you to the kitchen when you are ready to begin.

Parking at our House is extremely limited and priority is given to families. Parking is available in the flat lot across Rockland Road from the Ronald McDonald House; spaces are marked as reserved for Ronald McDonald House. We highly encourage carpooling to keep the number of cars at a minimum.
