Pre-assigned Planting Location: (SE) Hazeldean

Guided Planting Shifts are led by a Root for Trees Program Leader. They will meet you at the planting site, and bring all the materials you need for a successful planting shift, including plant material, shovels, and gloves. Volunteers must arrive wearing close-toed shoes and are asked to bring a mask.

Your group can have a maximum of 5 volunteers. Groups will be distributed throughout the planting area in adherence with physical distancing requirements.

To register for a guided shift, please select the green ‘Sign Up Now’ button at the top right of the page. Then, select from the available dates on the shift calendar. Once you have registered, the Program Supervisor will contact you to confirm the details of your booking.

Guided Planting Shifts

Guided Planting Shifts are led by a Root for Trees Program Leader at one of our planting sites. They will meet you at the planting site, and bring all the materials you need for a successful planting event, including plant material, shovels, and gloves. You must have at least 10 volunteers to participate in this program. Maximum group size is 100 volunteers. To register for a guided shift, please select the Volunteer Opportunities tab at the top of the page, then click on the Guided Planting Events icon. Once you have registered, the Program Supervisor will contact you to confirm the details of your booking.
