Perry County Park District
The mission of the Perry County Park District Board is to acquire, manage, preserve and conserve natural areas within Perry County, while protecting wildlife and local history in a manner that enriches our communities and provides access to diverse parks, educational, cultural, health and wellness activities.
Further, it shall promote and develop county-wide tourism, which will highlight the many varied local attractions. Namely, historic buildings & sights, significant religious structures and grounds, natural geographic occurrences, numerous prehistoric cultural mounds, gathering places in addition to municipal, county and township parks.
Volunteers are a critical part of the success of parks in Perry County, especially at a time when many park programs/facilities need additional support. From clearing trails to providing visitors with information to assisting with projects, volunteers provide invaluable services.
This program has been designed to be a win-win opportunity for both Sponsors as well as Organizations.
