San José Dance Theatre
San José Dance Theatre mission is to develop, foster and promote the art of dance for young people in the Silicon Valley. We offer professional style production opportunities that provide students significant and challenging roles, enriching the performances by casting professionals who act as role models.
San José Dance Theatre is committed to bringing dance into primary and secondary school classrooms in disadvantaged areas. Outreach programs include special performances, lecture-demonstrations, and classes. SJDT also has a thriving adult ballet program and provides an opportunity for everyone in the community, no matter what their age or experience, to discover the joys of dance. San José Dance Theatre has had the pleasure of introducing San José youth and audiences to the magnificent world of ballet since 1966.
This program has been designed to be a win-win opportunity for both Sponsors as well as Organizations.
