Sugar Sand Festival
We LOVE our volunteers! There’s no better teamwork than the 1,100 volunteers working together to host the event for the community. We treasure our volunteers so much; we call them “Sand Ambassadors”. Come serve your community while having a “Sandtastic” time on Clearwater Beach!
The Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival stands out as one of the best sand sculpture festivals in Florida, with world-renowned sand artists entered to win the best in show with their crazy-cool sand creations. With free live music, fireworks, kid’s play zones, and sand sculpting classes there’s more fun to have during the festival than grains of sand on Clearwater Beach.
The event also raises money for the community and supports the educational initiatives of the Sunsets at Pier 60 Daily Festival. The Sunsets at Pier 60 Daily Festival is a year-round nightly sunset celebration on the iconic Pier 60. This 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization serves as a free, family-friendly destination for tourists and locals to experience.
Join our Sand Ambassador team and receive free transportation from downtown, a ticket to the event, volunteer t-shirt and a meal on us!
This program has been designed to be a win-win opportunity for both Sponsors as well as Organizations.
